Three hotel projects in two states each needed its own low-voltage board, and no two were alike: an extended-stay property under StudioRes, an upscale hotel under Cambria Hotels and a third hotel project under Hilton. Two of the boards are service-entrance rated, each with a CT compartment for its serving utility; those two were ordered through Pacific Power Electrical Contracting and Graybar.
For the extended-stay property, a 2000A UL 891 low-voltage switchboard at 208Y/120V in a two-section NEMA 3R outdoor enclosure, with a 100%-rated Siemens WL main (LSI trip unit, Dynamic Arc Flash Sentry) and nine Siemens 3VA and BQD distribution breakers from 70A to 600A. For the upscale hotel, a 2000A UL 891 low-voltage service-entrance switchboard at 480Y/277V in three NEMA 1 indoor sections, with a Siemens 3VA 2000A main (solid-state LSIG trip unit, Dynamic Arc Flash Sentry), ten Siemens 3VA distribution breakers from 80A to 300A and a CT compartment for the utility. For the third hotel project, 1000A UL 891 low-voltage service-entrance switchgear at 208Y/120V in two NEMA 3R outdoor sections, with five Siemens 3VA distribution breakers, a 200kA surge protective device and a utility CT compartment. All three are rated 65 kAIC, with tin-plated aluminum bus, front-accessible terminations and an ANSI 61 light gray finish.

Each board was released to production from a DEI submittal package (detailed material list, section elevations and circuit schedule) that the customer approves first. The extended-stay property’s board has been delivered. As of September 2026 the upscale hotel’s board is in assembly and the third project’s switchgear is in bus-bar fabrication.
